This notice explains what personal data the pptxgen.net website collects, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are
This Website is operated by the operator of pptxgen.net ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, contact support@pptxgen.net.
2. Data we collect
- Contact data. The email address you provide when verifying your email during checkout or contacting support.
- Order data. Products purchased, license keys issued, and order identifiers needed to deliver licenses and handle refunds.
- Payment data. Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider Paddle (the merchant of record). We never see or store your full card number or payment credentials.
- Technical data. Server logs record request time, IP address, and requested URL for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.
- Support requests. When you submit the support form we store your name, email address, message, and any images you attach, so that we can answer and keep a record of the request. Attachments are kept on our server and are only used to handle your request.
- Preferences. Your language choice (English / 中文), stored locally in your browser.
3. Why we use it
- To deliver licenses you purchase and provide support (performance of a contract);
- To send transactional emails such as verification codes and license delivery (performance of a contract);
- To secure the Website and prevent abuse (legitimate interests);
- To comply with accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to run the store: Paddle (payments, invoicing, taxes — acting as merchant of record) and our email delivery provider (verification codes and license emails). Each processes data under its own privacy policy and applicable law.
5. Retention
Order and license records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Server logs are kept for a limited period (typically 90 days). Verification codes expire within minutes. Support requests — including any attached images — are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable period afterwards, and are deleted on request.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including GDPR where applicable), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email support@pptxgen.net.
7. Security
The Website is served over HTTPS. Access to production systems and databases is restricted and logged. Payment card data never touches our servers.
8. Changes
We may update this notice as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.

我们仅向商店运营所必需的服务商共享数据：Paddle（支付、开票、税务——作为记录商户）和邮件服务商（验证码与授权邮件）。各自按其隐私政策和适用法律处理数据。
5. 保存期限
订单与授权记录按财务和税务要求保留；服务器日志保留有限期限（通常 90 天）；验证码数分钟内过期。客服工单（含上传的图片）在处理问题所必需的期间及之后一段合理时间内保留，你可以要求删除。
